Because I'm Happy

Many people have asked me, "Chimi, Why do you blog?" At first I thought to myself, well it's fun, interesting and exciting. As I thought more about the question, I realized there was a lot more to it than that.

Blogging gives me happiness. It gives me my very own little space where my heart can connect with people all over the world. I am able to pour out my feelings through my writing and pictures. My heart tells me that this is who I am, it is what I really love to do. Life can get tough, people can be very hateful towards one another at times. Blogging gives me the chance to be myself and free myself of any negative emotions.

It was another beautiful day well spent with my lovely cousins. I wore a matching abstract navy blue crop-top with a skater skirt from Forever 21. I usually don't curl my hair because it hardly stays in place. However, that day was different. The weather was a big help on helping my hair stay in place. I felt confident in front of the camera while my cousin snapped away. We were very pleased with the photos. We even had a tough time choosing which one to post on the blog, so my sister helped with the selection. I hope you all like them the same.

POLKA

This year, one print has really struck my fancy- you got it - POLKA DOT- may be it's the name, or those fun circles, but I really really like it. In what better style to do so than a classic red? The color really pops and the polka dots are super cute. I paired my skirt with a black tank top and accessorized it with a beautiful gold necklace. We had a rough time shooting because it was so humid outside and my hair got all frizzy :(:( The temperature is unbearable these days. When it's very hot and humid outside, be sure to drink several glasses of water throughout the day.

Summer Sun

Nothing feels better than a cool dip on a hot summer day in the pool. The summer sun is upon us and the high street is bursting with maxi dresses to keep us happy and cool. Today, I wore a bohemian floral lace maxi dress with a slit in the front. Maxi dresses have become increasingly popular and no women's wardrobe is complete without one. Sleek, elegant and fashionable a maxi dress is all you need to look effortlessly stylish. 

There's no denying that we know how to have a good time & playing and clicking under the water makes it all the more fun. Some underwater pictures came out amazing and some so hilarious, we couldn't stop laughing when we checked it out. Although, I'll say that the only thing that needs improvement is my underwater photography skills. haha

Hi, world. I apologize for the confusion. I am not in New York City, still in the homeland Kathmandu. My Moma checks my Facebook and blog often. So, she might have accidentally checked-in. You guyssss, my I-pad 2 is broken and I was just consoling myself that it's not a very big deal when surprisingly my I-phone 5s stopped working too. It has been a helluva week, sighhhhh. I hope you guys had a brighter week than mine.

Anyways, Since the beginning of the blog we wanted to do a black and white photo shoot. In the age of color, I am still very much obsessed with black and white. My cousin wanted to take clean and simple shots for this blog. She tried some new angles and snapped away. Some pictures came out so bad we were laughing uncontrollably. lol. It was overall a fun experience and those pictures still make me smile.
