Vacation of a Lifetime

Singapore is a shoppers paradise. Malls everywhere, lots of skyscrapers, a very well kept subway, very clean and substantial litter fines everywhere. Singapore is awesome. Clean air, most people speak english fluently, good food, efficient transport, clean city=A Perfect Getaway. Here are my eight most favorite places that I visited at Singapore.

Singapore Flyer
Singapore flyer is a giant ferris wheel in Singapore. I went on the flyer at night and loved it. The flyer not only offers you stunning views of the city but it is also one of the city's most recognizable architectural icons.

The Merlion
The Merlion is a mythical creature with the head of a lion and the body of a fish. It is regarded as a Singapore icon.

Orchard Road
Orchard is the main shopping street of Singapore..

Universal Studios
Universal Studios is a movie themed entertainment park that anyone can enjoy.

Adventure Cove Waterpark
The adventure cove waterpark is a nice place to visit if you like water theme parks. Despite the long queues, it is definitely worth the wait.

Trip to Night Safari
This is the world's best night attraction to get near animals. I reached the Night Safari at around 7pm and managed to catch a bit of the Tribal dance performance before heading off to queue for the tram ride. The night safari at Singapore is the World's first nocturnal zoo and definitely worth a visit.

Gardens by the Bay
The Gardens by the Bay in Singapore certainly has the wow factor without a doubt!! okaayy!! It seems that I'm heavily promoting Singapore in my blog here… But I just can't get it out of my mind..

Night view of Marina Bay Sands…

A big thank you to my family for this wonderful trip :)
Hope my readers enjoyed all my my post and pictures :)

Two Piece

I am in awe of this breathtaking luxury hotel which has the best pool in Singapore. You must be a hotel guest to swim in the pool, however anyone can enjoy food and drinks at the restaurant and see the view from there. The infinity pool is huge and the view is remarkable :) I was expecting a scenery with few people as possible but since I've come during the season, I did expect the hotel to be fully booked. Nevertheless, it was such an enjoyable moment seeing different folks all having their unique experiences as mine.

Hope you liked the post!!!!
Have a great weekend :)

Malaysia - Truly Asia

Malaysia is primarily a Muslim country made up of Malays, Chinese and Indians. It was extremely hot and humid there so I spent a lot of time chasing air-conditioner. hehe. I booked a city tour and visited most of the historical places at Kuala Lumpur. I went to the Menara KL Tower to get a perfect view of the Petronas Twin Tower. The view was magnificent. Overall, Malaysia is one of the nicest places I have seen- really friendly people, really inexpensive, beautiful places to see, good food and a great history. Definitely worth a visit!!!

Hope you like all the pictures..
Happy Thursday :)

Sunshine

It was a beautiful day. Perfect skies. Perfect sunshine. I enjoyed the sunrise from the top of the hotel. This was my hotel room at 44th floor, the cozy space is already something to relish. It has the view of the cityscape which was more precious and expensive than the other room that had the view of Garden by the bay. If there is one thing remarkable about this hotel, it is the interiors which make it eternal to the senses. Everything is huge, like you're made to appear like ants. Undoubtedly this has become one of my favorite man made creations.

Marina Bay Sands

I was very interested in many of the city's attractions and Marina Bay Sands Hotel was on top of my list. Marina Bay Sands is the most spectacular hotel that provides ultimate luxury and breathtaking views. MBS is so many things put into one. It has a waterfront location. It's a mall, a hotel, a casino and a regular tourist spot visited for its unique architectural design. This building has become one of Singapore's most recognizable buildings. It is most popular for its Sky park rooftop which includes an infinity pool offering a great view of Singapore. I enjoyed my time at the top in the breeze. I am glad to have gone and had a wonderful time.

Zip Line

This is one of the greatest experience for the adventurous and fearless hearts. I went to Mega zip Adventure Park, Sentosa and it is said to be one of the longest and fastest zip lining in the world. I literally felt like I was flying. Before the take off, the guide did not give me a lot of details which, actually helped me to not overthink and stress. After that I was on my own in the fast and furious mode, I was overwhelmed with excitement and nerves. The scenery of the dense green jungle and the beautiful blue beach was beyond words can express, simply fantastic. It is absolutely a must do for everyone!

SNORKELING

Swimming has never been this much fun. Snorkeling is a wonderful activity that can be enjoyed by almost anyone. Snorkeling as an activity is another perfect pastime. Most people who have snorkeled have done so only on group, I did the same. Breathing practice and an hour of time is all that anyone needs to become a snorkeler.

If you haven't already, give it a try. You'll love the new world beneath the water.

Back Home

Photos By - Sonam Sherpa

Hey guys,
I just got back from my amazing vacation. I think it is nice just to be back home and rest a little from the constant moving around and deciding where to go. Its tiring trying to do so many things in a limited amount of time. But I had a blast and I kinda wanna go back. hehe. It's been a pretty eventful October and one of the most exciting month.
I went shopping and dinner with my cousin last night. We had a great time and we were laughing at each other looking through our pictures the whole time. lol. I was thinking of doing a kitty costume but ended up being a barbie :)

P.S: I will post my vacation pictures real soon.. Therefore, keep checking this space for a lot of new stuff!!

Hope you have a great weekend!!
Happy Halloween :)
