Only when we thought everything was getting normal, a magnitude 7.4 earthquake strikes Nepal again, 17 days after more than 8,000 died in a devastating earthquake. I felt the earthquake really strongly. It went for about 30 seconds - the ground was shaking and I could see the buildings shaking. There was another aftershock and people were all out on the street.
The latest earthquake hit near the town of Namche Bazar, near Mount Everest. Glad to know everyone, I know is safe. I hope, pray and think about people who are less fortunate. Through grief and mourning, the Nepali spirit remains unbowed. In spite of the strong force mother nature has shown us, the way everyone handled the emergency with courage, helping and caring for each other, I salute each and everyone of you. I hope courage will always stay with us and we will stay strong this rough time. Let's join hands again and help Nepal rise.
