Sagarmatha National Park

  Photos By - Roshni Sherpa

Today's look is a full Forever 21 look again (except the shoes and beanie). I, seriously can't seem to get enough of their clothes. The jacket was an instant favorite the first time I laid my eyes on them. I styled this stunning jacket with my favorite skirt, red beanie and a police boot.

This is the final shoot that we did during our stay at Namche. This shoot took place at the Sagarmatha National Park. This park is the highest national park in the world located above 3000 meters i.e 9700 feet. The mountains, glaciers and deep valley dominated by Mount Everest look marvelously beautiful on a sunny day. The air was so fresh and clear, I could literally taste it and it made me feel so alive. hehe.

To all my readers, thanks for reading.
Enjoy the photos by my super creative cousin :)

Until next time

Bakhu

 Photos By - Roshni Sherpa

I celebrated Dumchi (Sherpa's annual celebration) for the second time, this year held in Namche. Dumchi is a day or time of religious significance that recurs at regular intervals. It is a religious commemoration held annually in the same place. Also, it is the main community festival and ritual of Sherpas living in Khumbu.
So, while choosing for today's post, I hands down went with this stunning raw-silk bakhu and silk honju. Bakhu is the traditional dress of Sherpas, Tibetans and other buddhists.. Our identity is also expressed through our cultural clothes and jewelleries. I'm the biggest fan when it comes to silk bakhus. So, I literally spent all my money on bakhus. lol. I am a city girl, born and raised however Namche and the festival will always be in my heart. The celebrations will always be a part of the fond memories that I will reminisce about.

Hope you guys like the post..
Enjoy the photos :)

Fuzzy

      Photos By - Roshni Sherpa

Hey everyone,
Finally a new post! I truly apologize for the delay. It's just we have been really busy with Dumchi (the main community festival). It's been three days since I've been back from Namche. God, that place is a beauty and I miss that place so much.

Anyways, I went for a very casual look that day. Days that require me to do a lot of walking always have snickers included in the outfit. Why the fuzzy sweater? Well, it's obvious, It's very cold there at Namche and I've always had a soft spot for fuzzy sweaters. They're warm, adaptable and always add texture to any kind of outfit.

Hope you all have an amazing day !
